Former deputy governor of the county Busia Moses Okhoba Mulomi passed away on Tuesday, January 28.
What killed Moses Okhoba Mulomi?
The former deputy governor, who won the governor's seat 2022 under the party Eugene Wamalwa The Democratic Action Party Kenya (DAP-K), died after a short illness.
Mulomi was reported to have died in Nakuru while traveling from Busia to Nairobi.
He served under former Busia governor Sospeter Ojaamong, who said Mulomi suffered health problems in the middle of his journey to the country's capital.
Current Busia Senator Okiya Omtatah mourned Mulomi on social networks, saying his sudden death left an unchanged gap.

Omtatah praised Mulomi in honor of emotion, referring to him as a true leader who had served humbly and dedication, always putting the county and his people forward.
