Sonko celebrates breakfast with James
In the video of the emotionally shared emotion InstagramSonko seems to enjoy a luxury breakfast with James in his dining gold room.
The table was full of royal foods, including eggs, chicken sausages, tea, juice, and other foods.
Sonko encouraged James to eat as much as he wanted, urging him to ask for more tea and juice to finish his meal well.
At one point, the former governor appeared to play with the boy, teaching him jokes to say:
“Say fish, say fish, good boy.”
In addition to the breakfast, Sonko also participated in other sessions of their day together, including watching cartoons and even serving the wound in James' ankle.
“This is now your home,” Sonko told James, showing that he had taken the responsibility of raising him completely.
Sonko revealed that he took James to the hospital for a health examination and had also sought a psychologist to help him deal with the shock of witnessing his father's brutal murder.
However, he noted that the boy still remembers the incident clearly, especially when he looks at the scar on his ankle.
Uploading medical documents and information about James' treatment, Sonko wrote in his post:
“Satan is a liar. The healing journey of baby James has begun. Please remember him in your thoughts and prayers as we continue this journey together.”
How did James's father die?
James's sad story began in Mathare, where his father, a building worker, was attacked at dawn by criminals while the child witnessed.
Witnesses described a heartbreaking incident in which James cried bitterly around his father's body, with his food spread to the ground in the dust.
The incident sparked a lot of anger to the public, with Kenyans seeking justice and support for the child who was in shock. Sonko intervened quickly, vowing to help James start a new life.
On January 25, the businessman officially announced that he had taken James as his child.
With the help of local leaders, he was able to reach the boy and assure him of a bright life. He promised to sign him in his favorite school and give him everything he needs to achieve his dreams.
Additionally, Sonko rewarded James for school supplies, masks, clothing, shoes, and bikes, making sure he had comfort and emotional support.
