Kericho – a wonderful story of consistency and resolution has come to an end to the sadness following the horrible death of Madam Annette.
The mother of four faced a great challenge to achieve her dream of becoming a teacher in an exciting journey of patience and hope.
She was married at an early age, forced to give up lessons and endure years of abuse and abuse in many challenging marriage.
Despite his condition, he stayed in his goal of providing his children with a better life.
With a strong intention to finish his studies, Annette cultivated two acres of land, planted sorghum and guard for two agricultural seasons.
His daughter Annette told TUKO.co.ke that income from her hard work enabled her to pay the school fees while continuing to take care of her family.
He was enrolled in Kapmureito High School, where he did well in the Kenya Certificate of Secondary exam Education (KCSE).
“His success gave him the opportunity to join the University of Mount Kenya to study for a degree in arts education in Christian history and education,” Said her sad daughter.
As a mother and student, Annette raised her only four children while funding her university studies.
After graduation, she received a teacher career at a girls' high school in Kericho for a contract for the Board of Management (BOM) two years ago.
According to a social networking influencer, Dr Kelvin Rift, students and colleagues recognized him as an enthusiastic teacher and a source of motivation for many.
The tragedy occurred last night when Annette received an emergency call from her daughter, who is currently in college, about an emergency at home to Kericho in the city where her children live.
“Concerned, he asked for permission from work at night to address the issue,” The daughter continued.
Approximately one hour in the evening, when he tried to rush to get Three On the other side of the school gate, Annette was hit by a truck as he crossed the road. He died instantly.
All night, her daughter tried to call her mother regularly, but she didn't get answers.
The sad news of his death has left his family, students, and communities in sadness.
Annette's life is a testimony of the power of patience, but his sudden death teaches us about the weakness of life.
Her heritage as a beloved mother, a brave woman, and an exciting teacher will continue to be remembered by those who know her.
His funeral arrangements are underway, and his family is asking for help during this difficult time.
