Victor Wanyama’s partner Serah Teshna is an accomplished actress who has starred in various films and drama series in Kenya and beyond.
Teshna was already a household name even before she met Wanyama due to her starring roles in local TV shows such as Lies that Bind, Briefcase Inc, Nairobi Law, Sue na Johnnie among others.
She has also featured in a number of series and films like The Rugged Priest and most recently the Showmax series Igiza.

Now, the award-winning actress has decided to venture into film production, using her knowledge and experience in acting to produce a yet-to-be released movie that promises to captivate fans across the world.
News of Teshna’s upcoming film was made public by Amb Joseph Warui, the Deputy High Commissioner Court of Saint James (Kenya High Commission- London) who is set to play a role.
“What an honor to feature as a character in the upcoming movie produced by Serah Teshna Ndanu, renowned for her role in “Igiza.” This film, set in Kenya, is set to be showcased in Hollywood, on Netflix, and in British theatres soon,” Warui posted on Instagram.
“It’s an exciting opportunity to excel in diplomacy through cinema. This is a diplomatic tool and a compelling medium to communicate ideas through acting, influencing international relationships. We can indeed follow in the footsteps of Nollywood.”
Tesha joins the growing number of actors and actresses who have transitioned successfully into film production, opting to shape to tell the story from behind the camera and not in front of it as they were used to.
The mother of two was awarded the Best Lead Actress in a Film at the 2011 Kalasha Awards, for her role in The Rugged Priest, and also won an award for the Best Lead Actress during the Kenya Film Festival Awards in 2012.
