Irene Odinga built a luxury house to reward her father who worked hard to feed them when they were young.

Odinga, a domestic worker in Dubai, built the residence as a token of gratitude to his father for his sacrifice.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Odinga revealed sad things about his father who was a hard worker.

“He had a very bad accident that left him with a broken leg, and he had to rely on a walking stick for help. The accident happened while he was at work. He was in plaster for almost a whole year, and my mother took care of him throughout that period. Until now, he cannot work as before,” Odinga explained.

How long did Odinga take to build a house for his father?

The 27-year-old woman was touched by her father's dedication to serving the family despite his condition.

His perseverance and determination to work for his family inspired Odinga to build his father a house worth KSh 450,000.

“I saw how he struggled to pay our school fees through line work. When he had an accident, it hurt me a lot, so I decided to surprise him with a house as a way of appreciating his dedication,” he said.

Odinga added that it took him a year and a half to complete the beautiful project, which brought his father great joy.

Odinga's message to the youth

The house looked modern as it was built in a quiet environment as seen in the beautiful pictures.

The whole family seemed to be enjoying themselves as they gathered to celebrate the good news and spend quality time together.

Odinga also had a strong and encouraging message for the youth following his success.

“Be careful with your goals despite the challenges you encounter, and always remember where you came from,” he advised them.
