Harambee Stars defensive prospect Zak Vyner delivered a solid performance as Bristol City edged Blackburn Rovers 2-1, strengthening their bid for Premier League promotion.
Vyner, who missed his Kenya debut in June due to incomplete documentation , featured prominently as a right-sided center-back, showcasing his reliability in defense.
The defender recorded an 81% pass accuracy, made six clearances and tackles, and won three of his five ground duels, anchoring Bristol City’s defense in a critical victory.

Otieno was industrious down the left flank and registered one key pass during the game, contributing significantly to Wigan’s attack.
James Carragher gave Wigan the perfect start, heading in Joseph Hungbo’s free-kick in the sixth minute for his first senior goal. Later, a defensive lapse by Bristol Rovers allowed Talor to set up Jonny Smith for Wigan’s second goal.
