Gospel Musician Burns Mercedes Benz Given to him by Pastor

Gospel singer Tanzania he has burned the car given to him by a famous preacher.

Why did Goodluck Gozbert burn the Mercedes Benz gift?

Goodluck Gozbert, known for his gospel song Huwezi Kushindana, was gifted a Mercedes Benz car by Prophet Geor Davie in 2021.

An old video showed the preacher asking Goodluck what the best car he ever owned was, and he replied that he had a Toyota Harrier.

“Do you want to own a Mercedes Benz? I will give you C class today,” Geor Davie said as the congregation applauded.

Goodluck knelt down, full of emotion and even crying.

“I want people to know that your life has changed since you met me. Those who despised you will not despise you again,” the preacher said.

The sedan was then brought into the hall while the believers cheered.

The prophet gave Goodluck the keys to the car, and he wept with joy. Then the preacher prayed for the singer.

In a video published on Friday, January 24, Goodluck announced the burning of the car and explained the reason for the decision.

“I received a car from the preacher. I want people to know the food I ate that day in church and the gift of that car did not please God. It was not right for me to share.

“After this video, I know there will be mixed opinions from people and preachers who love me and hate me. I respect all. If God gives me a chance to talk more about this, I will do so by His grace. God bless you.”

Goodluck then drove the vehicle, which was painted black, to an isolated area, doused it with fuel and then set it on fire. The car was completely destroyed by fire.
