do William Ruto did he send an abusive message to CS Muturi?

During a live show on TikTok, Thursday, January 23, Gachagua accused President Ruto of harassing the Minister of Public Services, Justin Muturi.

The former vice president referred to the incident in Embu, where mourners rejected a condolence message from President Ruto delivered by Muturi on Friday, January 3.

Gachagua claimed that following the incident, the president sent Muturi a message accusing him of inciting the mourners.

The former vice president said that the people of Embu had a problem with Ruto and that Muturi should not be blamed for that.

“They say that he is the one who organized people to reject Ruto's condolence message. That is not true, CS Muturi was insulted by the president. He wrote very abusive messages, accusing him of inciting people. This is not fair to CS because it was the mountain people who rejected because of betrayal and deceit,” Gachagua demanded.

Did Muturi miss William Ruto's Cabinet meeting?

This comes at a time when CS Muturi seems to have a conflict with the government Kenya First. Rumors grew after he missed a Cabinet meeting chaired by President Ruto at Kakamega State Lodge.

His absence was noticed following his recent allegations, in which he accused the head of the National Intelligence Services (NIS), Nordin Haji, of being involved in the kidnapping of his son during the height of protest of anti-government in June 2024.

This revelation has put Muturi in tension with his colleagues in the government and intensified rumors about his position in the government.

Recently, South Mugirango Member of Parliament, Silvanus Osoro, gave Muturi time to either resign or apologize for his statements.

Osoro accused Muturi of disrespecting the Kenya First government by airing his grievances in public instead of discussing them within the government.

Justin Muturi speaks after boycotting Ruto's meeting

The minister surrounded by crisis broke his silence after missing the first meeting of the year 2025 between the president and his Council of Ministers.

Muturi did not give a direct answer but advised journalists to seek clarification from the Cabinet Secretary, Mercy Wanjau.

President Ruto did not speak or comment publicly on Muturi's absence, which left many wondering about the meaning of his silence.

Muturi was also not seen at the swearing-in ceremony of Public Service commissioners at the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC).
