Nairobi – Former Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala has given information about the health condition of Malava Member of Parliament Malulu Injendi.
Where is MP Malulu Injendi lying?
In her statement on Tuesday, January 21, Malala revealed that the Malava MP was seriously ill.
In an update on Tuesday, January 21, Malala revealed that Injendi was admitted to the Aga Khan hospital in Nairobi.
Malala revealed that Injendi was in the intensive care unit (ICU) at the Aga Khan Hospital, undergoing dialysis, but she assured the public that she was receiving treatment.
“Malava State Member (Malulu Injendi) is currently in ICU, undergoing dialysis surgery and fighting hard. A team of doctors is attending to him and he is responding. Keep him in your prayers,” Malala said.

The former Kakamega senator dismissed rumors about the MP's health, insisting that Injendi is still alive and fighting for his life.
“We are with his family in the Hospital, and as of 2302hrs, our brother is still alive, fighting for his life in the ICU Agha Khan Hospital, Nairobi. Ignore any rumours,” he added.
The statement of the former Secretary General of the Democratic Union (UDA) comes amid earlier reports that the Malava member of parliament has died.
When did former Kimilili MP Suleiman Murunga die?
Elsewhere, Kimilili constituency was plunged into mourning following the death of their former member of parliament, Suleiman Murunga.
Murunga was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kimilili from 2013 to 2017 under the Ford Kenya Party.
Murunga died on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 while receiving treatment at a hospital in the capital of cpuntry.
Various national leaders including the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang'ula who worked closely with him in the Ford Kenya Association have come out on social media to mourn his death.
The Speaker of the National Assembly said that Murunga's five-year tenure as a Member of Parliament was demonstrated by his dedication and commitment to the people he serves.
He also offered his condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
Murunga's successor, the current Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa, also expressed his sadness when he heard about Murunga's death.
Former Member of Parliament for Bomachoge Chache Simon Ogari has passed away
Murunga's death came just a few weeks after the death of former Bomachoge Chache Member of Parliament Simon Ogari.
The two-time ODM Member of Parliament died at his home in Karen, Nairobi, around 5:00 am on Tuesday, September 10, 2024.
Ogari Arama, a close associate of the veteran opposition leader Raila Odingaserved in the 10th and 11th parliaments from 2008 to 2017.
Leaders took to social media to mourn the former ODM MP, describing him as a gentle and selfless leader.
