A win in Lievin will take Grant Holloway to five consecutive victories in the meet.
World champion hurdler Grant Holloway is set to make his much-anticipated return to the Meeting in Lievin on February 13, as part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series, marking his season debut.
The event has been a familiar and successful stage for Holloway, who has won the men’s 60m hurdles in Lievin for the past four years.
Holloway’s dominance began in 2020, and his performances there have only grown more impressive over time.

In 2021, he clocked a personal best and meeting record of 7.32 seconds, a feat that marked him as one of the all-time greats in the discipline. His victories in 2022 and 2023 continued to solidify his status, and last year he equaled the meeting record of 7.32 before setting a world indoor record of 7.27 in his next race.
This year, Holloway is chasing history. A fifth consecutive win in Lievin would make him the first man ever to achieve this milestone, cementing his legacy as the dominant force in the event.
Additionally, he aims to extend his remarkable win streak in the 60m hurdles, which currently stands at an astounding 76 races. Holloway’s last defeat over the distance came over a decade ago, in March 2014, while he was still in high school.

Holloway capped off his year with a Diamond League title in Brussels and was named Athlete of the Year by USA Track & Field (USATF), sharing the honor with triple Olympic champion Gabby Thomas in the women’s category.
