A Sad Accident Cut off the lives of Five people, including two teachers.

The road accident that happened on Sunday night, January 19, cut the lives of five people, two of them teachers.

Lucy Chakala and Dorcas Nyamohanga were female teachers who lost their lives following the accident.

They died after a truck that was carrying loads exceeded the limit, lost direction and hit two motorcycles, one of which was carrying the two teachers.

How many people died in the Migori road accident?

“The truck driver was rushed to the hospital unconscious,” read one post on Facebook.

Residents who arrived at the scene were caught trying to help the victims, but the two female teachers died on the spot.

Their bodies were covered with sheets while the relevant authorities were immediately notified and arrived at the accident site.

Kenyans mourn Migori teachers who died in an accident

Kenyans were moved by grief after the accident and took to social media to mourn the victims.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mwalimu Dorcas and Mwalimu Lucy Chakala following a serious road accident. Smiling and friendly people. People who had progressive positions. People who were eager to see the next generation advance in knowledge and, above all, women who had a family mission.”

“And the Bible says, be ready because we do not know the day or the hour. Our sisters did not know that they would die early. So, we are all on a journey.”

Robi Mokami:

“Sad, sad, sad. My deepest condolences to their families. I am overwhelmed.”
