In the year 2023, Zari and Shakib got married in a lavish ceremony that left many talking.
This 43-year-old mother of five children from Uganda she looked stunning in an elegant ivory gown with a long tail and a white shawl.
The ceremony was attended by fellow stars of the show Young, Famous and African, as well as famous artists in Africa, such as Zari's close friend and wealthy businessman, Zodwa Mkandla, as well as close friends and family.
Tanzanian artist, Diamond Platnumzthe father of Zari's last two children, was not seen at the wedding.

The socialite's five children attended the wedding.
His three eldest sons wore white like the rest of the guests, while Prince Nillan wore a brown suit similar to Shakib's jacket.

In the clip shown, Zari said she was full of emotions on her wedding day, and her vows were special because they revealed what she wanted for their future.
“I feel like I have a lot to say, you know. What I want for our future. I just want to say it all,” he said.
The mother of five promised to love and support her husband, saying she has luck to be his wife.
He said:
“I promise to respect you, appreciate you, and honor you as you are with the person you want to be. I promise to advance your goals, hold your hand when you have problems, and celebrate your victories. I promise to show you every day how much I appreciate having you in my life. Now and always.”
Shakib also assured her of his love for Zari, saying that he loves her and respects her a lot.
“I promise to respect you, appreciate you, and congratulate you for who you are. I promise to make our lives exciting, loving and happy, knowing that whatever challenges we face, we will overcome them together. I love you so much,” he said.
