Nairobi – The family of Conrad Nyabuto, who was allegedly stabbed to death by his lover in Ruiru, Kiambu County, is crying for justice.
Who stabbed Conrad Nyabuto to death?
Conrad was stabbed to death by his ex-girlfriend, Salome Wanjiru, in Kamakis on December 17.
Speaking to Citizen TV on Wednesday, January 15, the family claimed that despite clear evidence linking the suspect to the murder, few steps have been taken to bring the suspect to court.
His father painfully recounted how his son met his tragic death at the hands of his former lover.
According to the father, his third child was stabbed 27 times, a clear sign that the suspect intended to kill him.

“He left us in a very painful way. Being stabbed 27 times is not self-defense. That is like killing a very dangerous wild animal. We have been trying to cope, but it has not been easy,” said the father.
The family has expressed their fear that a prominent politician in Kiambu county, who is a relative of the suspect, is trying to interfere with the investigation.
“There were credible reports that there are big people in the government trying to interfere with the investigation,” father said.
The suspect is expected to appear in court to make his plea on Thursday, January 16, at the High Court Thika.
A family member claimed that Conrad had visited his girlfriend with the intention of ending their relationship before he was killed.
“He had already told some of his girlfriends that he wanted to leave the woman. He said that the woman was a big nuisance in his life,” said a close relative.
