Answering interview questions

Talking to TUKO.co.keEmmanuel Makokha, experienced trainer and founder of Fresh Jobs Kenya, said that when they are called to a job interview, applicants should be ready to answer questions about the future of the company they want to work for. .

Makokha said that a common interview question is,

“Where do you see our company in the next two years, and how will you contribute to achieving that vision?”

He noted that these questions aim to test the applicant's understanding of the company and its strategic goals.

“This question is intended to test if you have done enough research to understand the strategic plans that your potential employer holds. Another question will be to find out your understanding of a growth strategy that can work for the organization, just to check if it fits. Make sure that you use your past experience as examples, considering what you have prioritized, you must summarize your contribution and how your strategy will work 'conflicts in nature' and have similar solutions, eg financial/technical constraints,” Makokha said.
