Kabogo described Muturi's action as irresponsible, saying that such issues should be dealt with within government channels instead of being aired in public.
William Kabogo's answer to Justin Muturi
“From where I sat, that was very irresponsible from Mr. JB Muturi. If I were in his position, I would have taken my opposition to the appointment authority, and if I was afraid, I would have gone to the Council of Ministers and aired it there. and if I wasn't satisfied, I would accept to resign because I don't believe in what the government is doing,” Kabogo said.
The minister-elect was responding to a question by Member of Parliament Owen Baya about the joint responsibility of government officials and how he would handle such a situation.
Kabogo further criticized Muturi, saying politicians like him often prioritize their election rather than the impact of their actions.
“I am more of a leader than a politician, because a politician thinks more about the next election, but a leader thinks about the next generation,” he said.
Kabogo was speaking when he faced the National Assembly Committee on the nomination, where he came forward to review whether he should be the Secretary General of ICT.

Following the explosive report, the Directorate of Criminal Investigation invited Muturi to provide information about the abduction of the child to assist in the ongoing investigation.
The minister arrived at the offices of DCI Kilimani on Tuesday, January 14, in order to honor the call and dispel concerns about the abduction.
