The attorney general also suggested that employers support family life by allowing employees to display pictures of their loved ones in their offices as a way to feel cared for and empowered.
Thongori has also urged workers to be unapologetic about their family responsibilities, noting that it gives them depth and value.
She encouraged women, especially pregnant, lactating women, and those with teenage children, to embrace their family identity when applying for jobs, challenging the misconception that children interfere with work.
His death is a great loss to the legal community, and his legacy continues to inspire those he mentored and worked with.

An elephant kills a Nyahururu man at night
Other News: A 65-year-old man from Nyahururu died after being dragged from his home and killed by an elephant at night.
The incident caused consternation among residents, who took to the streets to protest, blocking the busy Nyahururu-Rumuruti road.
The protesters called on the Department of Wildlife Services (KWS) and the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) to take immediate action to prevent elephants and other wildlife from entering residential areas, citing ongoing issues related to the movement of these animals.
