Radio Jambo presenter, Lion Deh, popularly known as Cyrus Afune, found comfort and support from Kenyans after burying his son, Master Lion-man, on January 11, 2025.
Where was his son Lion Deh buried?
A sad funeral ceremony was held at their home in Eshiongo village, Khwisero, Kakamega county, and was attended by friends, relatives, and spouses.
The news of the tragedy was announced on air by his colleague, Massawe Japan, during his program on Radio Jambo.
In an interview with Mpasho, Lion Deh revealed sad details about his son's death.
Master Lion was playing on the couch in the living room when he fell and hit his head on the floor.
Shortly after, the child began to experience convulsions, which made his parents rush him to a nearby health center.
After undergoing a CT scan, doctors discovered he had internal bleeding.
Baby Lion underwent a three-hour operation, which was initially successful. However, despite the surgery, the child's condition worsened as his brain swelled to a large extent.
Despite being placed in the ICU and closely monitored, the swelling did not go down. Finally, the doctors announced that he had already died.
