Donald Kipkorir Speaks After Narrowly Escaping the Ngong Road Accident: “It Worries Me”

Nairobi – Prominent lawyer Donald Kipkorir narrowly escaped death after being involved in what could have been a horrific accident.

When did Donald Kipkorir have an accident?

In a post on his social media page, Kipkorir revealed that he was involved in an accident on Ngong Road on Saturday, January 11.

“On Saturday night, I had an accident on Ngong Road that left me traumatized, but thank God, no physical injury,” Kipkorir said.

On Monday, January 13, the stalwart lawyer visited the scene of the accident, a visit he described as healing.

“Suddenly bin vuu, my friends Tony Karimi, Peter Gachihi, Gor Semelang'o and Morris Ole Kaburu arrived and waited for me for more than two hours until the suction truck from InchCape arrived. Today, I visited the accident site for healing!” He said.

3 people died in an accident in Bungoma

Meanwhile, in a separate incident in Bumula, Bungoma county, three people lost their lives in an accident that happened in the Mayanja Kibuke market.

The police have confirmed the deaths and have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.

These incidents highlight the rising number of road accidents across the country, sparking fresh calls for stricter enforcement of traffic laws.

According to authorities, most road accidents in Kenya are caused by speeding, driver fatigue, drunk driving, careless driving, poor road conditions, and driving unmaintained or dilapidated vehicles.

The National Transport and Safety Authority has repeatedly urged motorists to prioritize road safety to reduce the alarming rate of deaths.

Another news is that three people lost their lives after a small plane crashed in Malindi, Kilifi and caught fire.
