- Kenya Airways has donated a Boeing 737 to Mang'u High School to celebrate the centenary of the institution and inspire the next generation of pilots, engineers and designers.
- The aircraft, which was previously in service, will now be used as a training center for Mang'u students, and to enhance their aviation education.
- The Boeing 737 was flown from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to the school via Eastern Bypass and Thika Highway.
The airline Kenya Airways has donated a Boeing 737 to Mang'u High School, marking an important step in the school's centenary celebrations.
Celebrities attended the donation ceremony of the plane, including Archbishop Reverend Philip Anyolo, Head of Mang'u John Kuria, Chairman of Nation Media Group Wilfred Kiboro, and Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer of Kenya Airways Hellen Mathuka.

The Mang'u student council, filled with joy, witnessed the launch of the plane as part of the school's heritage in education and aviation.
“This aircraft, once soaring, is now beginning a new chapter as a learning tool to inspire and equip future explorers, engineers, and inventors,” said Hellen Mathuka during her speech.
Delivery of Boeing 737
The Boeing 737 aircraft, which is transported from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) through the Eastern Bypass Road and Thikawill serve as a training center for aviation students.
Motorists were advised to be cautious during morning deliveries of irregular loads.
Established in 1925, Mang'u High School has a rich history of promoting academic and academic excellence.

Early in 2023, Kenya Airways donated another plane to Mangu High School.
The handing over of the aircraft, which took place at the Kenya Airways head office, North Airport Road, inside Hanger 2, was presided over by the then Minister of Roads and Transport Dating Murkomen.
