Mathew Nyamlori is still fighting cancer
Photos shared by Okoto Nyuka on Facebook showed him in a bad state. Cancer has ended the personality that was strong and dense.
“We are very grateful to everyone who has supported him, especially during his treatment periods. May God fill your pockets abundantly. However, the journey is not over yet. A close relative who spoke to TUKO.co.ke he urged Kenyans to stand with Nyamlori.
“Cancer is a disease. It has exhausted our son, but let's not give up. Let's continue to support him in fulfilling the required bills. It is not easy. Nyamlori is a true fighter, and we cannot let him down. Kenyans! please stand with this man,” a source told TUKO.co.ke.
Mathew Nyamlori's struggle for education
Many Kenyans know him as a candidate for the National Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) series.
This is because he did KCPE nine times before joining Nairobi School, where he passed the national exams.
Nyamlori did not sit KCPE nine times because he was not smart, but his family lacked the money to afford his studies.
After bravely enduring 18 years of primary school, Equity Bank's Wings to Fly scholarship program funded his secondary school education.
He later graduated from Kenyatta University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy and Administration.
