In his statement to the public on Sunday, January 5, the former deputy president urged Trans governor Nzoia Natembeya to remain steadfast in his service to the people and not to be offended by critics.

“My dear brother Governor Natembeya. Please don't let the court poets and great singers distract you from the work you are doing to deliver to the people of Trans-Nzoia County. These Court soldiers are on a false mission of providing comedy relief to the people of Trans County “Nzoia, their master.” Gachagua said.

The former vice president urged Natembeya not to be afraid to speak the truth, raising criticism from the President's allies William Rutowhich shows that the governor was affecting the community.

“And don't be afraid to speak on behalf of the people of Kenya when necessary. The sarcasm and ridicule thrown at you is a clear testimony that you make an impact when you speak truth to power,” he added.

What Natembeya said about the kidnapping

Meanwhile, speaking on Sunday, January 5, Nambeya denied any relationship with the former vice president.

However, Natembeya insisted that Ruto cannot avoid the responsibility of dealing with kidnapping issues in the country.

“There is something very wrong in this country… The President cannot avoid the responsibility of dealing with the kidnapping issue, as the responsibility to protect Kenyans and their property rests on his shoulders,” Natembeya said.

What Kimani Ichung'wah Natembeya said

As previously reported, the Kikuyu MP criticized Natembeya for calling on the government to stop the ongoing kidnappings in the country.

The discussion started when Natembeya took the opportunity to speak at the funeral of Speaker Moses Wetang'ula's mother, where he called Ichung'wah claiming that Kenyans are kidnapping themselves.

He has also called on President William Ruto to ensure that cases of kidnapping in the country are ended.

Natembeya also said that no one should be kidnapped or killed for their statements on social media.

Natembeya's comments were not good for the Kikuyu MP. When it was his turn to speak, he angrily criticized Natembeya for claiming that kidnapping was happening in the country.

Seeing the situation getting worse, the general secretary of the Union of Trade Unions (COTU) Francis Atwoli he went to Ichung'wah and whispered something in his ear.
