How Rachel Otuoma honored her husband

The wife of a former player AFC LeopardsRachel Otuoma, attended the service even as she continued to mourn the death of her husband.

Accompanied by her sister-in-law and aunt, Rachel, dressed in a black and orange gown, felt pain as she paid her last respects to her late husband.

“I don't have much to say. I would just like to thank the church. In May 2015 you brought us together, and it was death that separated us. It was death that separated me and him. (he breaks down). I would like to thank the church, friends, and family,” he said with a lot of emotion.

The preacher who led the mass also praised the Otuoma family for being believers of God and noted that his mother was a strong member of the church.

Rachel's wish for her husband before he died

Rachel's video asking God to heal her husband it surfaced just hours after confirming his death.

In the video, Rachel was holding a black birthday cake with drawings of dollar bills, and said:

“Before extinguishing the candles, I have something to pray to God. My desire is to see my husband standing again. I am asking God to give us that healing. That is my only desire.”

How Rachel handled the candle ceremony for her husband

Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that Rachel was overcome with emotion during the candlelight vigil for her husband.

Otuoma's friends and fellow content producers joined his family at the Mbotela Community Hall to celebrate his life.

Minutes before the candles were lit, Rachel burst into tears and was seen being comforted by Otuoma's sister, Mildred.
