Kisii – A fire broke out in the dormitory of Cardinal Otunga secondary school in Mosocho on Thursday, January 9, hours after the announcement of KCSE 2024 results.
This incident occurs just a few days after the school opened for the first semester of 2025. A team of firefighters and security officers quickly arrived at the scene.
According to Capital News, school officials said they will deal with the effects of the incident on Friday, January 10, while authorities continue to investigate the incident.
The cause of the fire is unknown, a situation that has sparked speculation among Kenyans.
It should be noted that, in 2023, Cardinal Otunga Mosocho High School achieved an average score of over 10 in the KCSE examination, confirming its reputation as one of the best schools in the country.
