KCSE Results Announced Today, Ministry of Education Confirms

After several weeks of anticipation, the government will release the 2024 Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results today, Thursday, January 9, 2025.

The Minister of Education Julius Migos Ogamba will announce the results at 10 am from Mitihani House, located in South C, Nairobi.

This release marks an important moment for candidates, parents and educators across the country who are eager to learn the national exam results.

The delay in the release of the KCSE 2024 results has sparked much concern and speculation, with many Kenyans questioning the authenticity of the results and the reasons for the postponement.

Education Minister Ogamba, however, assured the public that the results will be released in the second week of January, in keeping with tradition.

The ministry acknowledged minor glitches in the release process but insisted these were being addressed.

Meanwhile, on January 3, Secretary General Belio Kipsang dismissed claims that the delay was an attempt to skew the results in favor of elite national schools.

He explained that the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) was taking extra time to resolve all the issues for easy release.

The ministry's commitment to transparency and accuracy aimed to restore public confidence in the examination process.

When was KPSEA result released?

Other News, through an announcement made on Facebook and X platforms on Tuesday, January 7, KNEC announced that the results of KPSEA were found.

Schools that submitted students for assessment were instructed to download their reports from the CBA website.

Some Kenyans were angered by the announcement questioning why KNEC gave the exams late at night when the candidates were sleeping.
