Donor Ndung'u Nyoro, through his Facebook message, revealed that James got A plain despite the many challenges he faced in life.

Why did Peter James work as a carpenter?

After completing the National Primary School Examination (KCPE), the young man had to work as a carpenter in Dandora to earn a living.

He could not afford the fees required to attend high school, so he began working odd jobs in a local shop.

It was then that someone called Nyoro, the founder of the Affecto Institute, asking about the boy's condition.

“I have no words to say. God has acted with Affecto. Four years ago, I was told about a young man in Dandora who could not join Form One and had started working as a carpenter. He was given small jobs like painting the finished furniture and preparing it for the market,” Nyoro said.

After meeting him, the donor took James to Murang'a High School, where he studied for four years.

“I asked him to come to our meeting place in Kikuyu. After our conversation, Peter James promised us to work hard when we help him join Murang'a High School, the school he dreamed of joining,” he said.

The sponsor was happy with the boy's results, noting that he fulfilled his promise to make him happy when he joined Form One.

Nyoro explained that the student is from the marginal Shona community and his origin is Zimbabwe.

He asked his followers to congratulate James on his exceptional results.

“Peter James, who is left-handed, got A plain in the KCSE results that were announced just now. Let's help each other to congratulate Peter James and thank God for this victory,” Nyoro added.
