How to Check KCSE Result 2024 Online: A Simple Guide to Follow

Ogamba said that approximately 965,512 candidates took the national exam in 10,755 centers across the country, thus indicating an increase of 6.89% candidates compared to the 903,260 candidates who took the exam in 2023.

The revision of the 2024 KCSE results was completed on December 13, 2024, following multiple marking of candidates at 40 marking centers across the country.

Ogamba said that in 2024, 10 subjects recorded a decline in overall performance compared to 2023. He added that male candidates performed better than their female counterparts.

“10 subjects recorded a decline in performance compared to 2023. Female candidates performed better in several subjects while male candidates outperformed their female counterparts in 23 subjects,” Ogamba said.

How can one check KCSE result online?

Unlike previous years, KNEC has introduced a new method for candidates to get their 2024 KCSE exam results.

The best way to access KCSE result is through online mode. Follow these steps to get your results:

  • You can also access the results by typing the link https://results.knec.ac.ke into your browser
  • Enter your index number and one of your names in the fields provided.
  • Click 'View your results'.
  • The result analysis will be displayed in a few seconds, depending on your internet speed.

Has the KCSE 2024 result been delayed?

This follows a statement by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) a day earlier, dismissing concerns about the delay of the 2024 KCSE exam results.

Kenyans and candidates have been eagerly waiting for their results after the Ministry of Education announced that they will be released as early as January 2025, even though a week has passed.

However, in an exclusive interview with TUKO.co.kea KNEC official confirmed that the national examination board is committed to releasing the results on time.

A news source who requested anonymity said the examination board is making every effort to produce results within the time set by the Secretary General of Education Belio Kipsang.
