What Happened to Purity Makena?
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Idah Mwensh, his aunt, said they suspect that her nephew was killed by her boyfriend along with another man.
According to Mwensh, Makena caught the lovers having sex, which led to his tragic death.
“He was killed on the 26th of December, and we found his body tied to a stone near the river on the 27th of December. He caught them in the act, and they decided to silence him forever,” he said.
The grief-stricken woman noted that the two suspects were arrested and taken to Kiamaciri police station.

Mwensh, however, expressed his concern that the suspects may not be arrested for a long time, claiming that the family of Makena's boyfriend is rich and can easily bail him out.
“The boy comes from a rich family, and he will be released on bail. But we want justice to be done so that our girl can rest in peace,” he added.
