Injuries have been reported on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway after a school bus collided with a truck on Wednesday, January 8.
St John Ambulance confirmed the accident in Soweto along a busy highway.
How St John Ambulance saved Naivasha accident victims
The first aid and health agency reported that among the injured was a child.
“Three people, including a child, were injured this afternoon following a road accident involving a bus and a truck in Soweto along the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway,” part of the St John Ambulance statement read.

The staff of the organization in Kinungi arrived immediately to save the victims and provide them with first aid, among other measures.
Those seriously injured were immediately transferred to Naivasha Sub County Referral Hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the accident had not been confirmed at the time of publication.
Pictures from the scene showed the bus and truck with damage in the front areas.
St John Ambulance, however, appealed to motorists to be more careful when driving on the road.
“We ask motorists to be extra careful when driving in this area. St John Ambulance has set up a Community First Aid Center along this road, offering free first aid,” it said.
The accident happened a few months after another accident involving a school bus that killed six people.
