The family and friends of late footballer Ezekiel Otuoma are still planning to give him a dignified and befitting burial.
Otuoma's wife, Rachel, on December 21, sadly announced the death of her ailing husband through her social media pages.
The deeply saddened woman wrote a sad message confirming her sincere love for her husband even after death.
Rachel revealed that Ezekiel died on her birthday, adding that she will cherish every moment they spent together.

The family said earlier that they intend to collect KSh 3.5 million, which will be used to pay for the funeral of the former football player

In an interview with TUKO.co.ke, the family's spokesperson, Dennis Mogendi, noted that they have collected KSh 2.5 million and shared plans to achieve the required amount.
“We have a gathering at Mbotela Social Hall with candlelight. On Thursday, we have a mass for the dead at Uhuru Estate. On Friday, the body will be removed from the mortuary and sent Poisonousand will be buried on Saturday. We are doing well. So far, I think we are missing about KSh 1 million. In synergy, we hope to achieve the goal,” he said.

Rachel's friend, Sandra Dacha, recently revealed that Rachel was looking for financial help to bury her football player husband.
