Kiambu – A 44-year-old man has recounted the last conversation he had with his girlfriend Jackline Nyambura Mungai shortly before she was found dead near their home.

Nashon Kuria Wanjiru had been living with the 28-year-old woman for about four years in Kamutaro, Kiambu county.

Kuria revealed that her boyfriend had told her about his plans to commit suicide, citing stress from infertility among other issues.

“When he was on his way to Ruaka, he told me he was going to kill himself. When I asked why, he said there were many things that were bothering him, including not having children and he was going to throw himself in the pool,” he remembered.

A prominent African activist, Hussein Khalid, said more than four bodies were found in the area within four days, which has raised questions about the cause of the deaths.

“In this area of ​​Ruaka, for the past three days, at least four bodies have been found and the cause of the deaths is unknown,” Khalid said.

Police have launched an investigation into Nyambura's death while his family remains with questions about what happened to their loved one.

What happened to Jackline Nyambura?

In related news, TUKO.co.ke reported that the body of the young woman was found on January 4, near her house along the Ruaka-Banana road.

He was found half-clothed, in a horrible condition, indicating an attempt to suffocate him or cause him to die of suffocation.

Law enforcement officials conducted an investigation at the scene before shifting the body to Kihara Level IV Hospital mortuary, pending an autopsy.
