Rachel Otuoma, the widow of the late Kenyan footballer Ezekiel Otuoma, has spoken for the first time since announcing his death.
Rachel Otuoma mourned her late husband
Otuoma passed away on December 21, the same day Rachel was celebrating her birthday, a tragedy that has left her heartbroken.
In an emotional gathering at her home, Rachel was joined by social media and celebrities of TikTokincluding Baba Talisha and Nicholas Kioko along with some of his friends.
The group brought him consolation gifts and discussed plans to manage the funds donated by well-wishers for funeral preparations.
Speaking about his tragic death, Rachel broke down as she explained how difficult it has been to adjust to life without her husband.
He recounted the moments of disbelief and the pain of accepting his absence.
“Please continue to pray for us because it is not easy for me, it is not easy, pray for me and pray for me more.” I was already used to him. Sometimes I still think he calls me from another room to help him. When I went to the morgue to see him, it looked like he was just sleeping, looking very peaceful. But it is God's plan. The most important thing is for Otuoma to be buried peacefully, without any problems or drama,” he said.
The mourning session was also an opportunity to plan the next steps in ensuring that Otuoma is given a dignified farewell.
His widow thanked those who supported him during this difficult period and asked them to continue to remember his family in their prayers.

Death of Ezekiel Otuoma
As TUKO.co.ke reported, footballer Otuoma passed away on December 21.
In an emotional post, she promised to love and cherish her husband even after his death.
Otuoma was suffering from a serious condition called motor neurone disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
