  • Tanzanian gospel musician Martha Mwaipaja was accused of not caring for her mother and sister despite being rich
  • The accusations made by her tearful sister Beatrice caused a sensation online, with her colleague Christina Shusho bravely coming to her defense
  • According to Shusho, people don't share their concerts but always talk about their downfall, and finally they had enough

Tanzania: Believers were stunned after musician Upendo Nkone refused to help Christina Shusho to denounce those who have been attacking Martha Mwaipaja for allegedly not caring about her family.

How Christina Shusho supported Mwaiipaja

The two were at a concert when Shusho, angrily, said people like to talk bad about musicians but they don't help push their concerts.

Gospel singer, Martha Mwaipaja, was publicly criticized by her sister Beatrice for abandoning their family despite her success.

Beatrice claimed Martha drives luxury cars and helps guests while their mother is struggling.

The emotional claims sparked a fierce online debate about Martha's personal and public life.

“We stand here on behalf of our fellow soldiers in the Lord's army who are going through difficult times. Difficult times come to test our faith.

We will not allow soldiers in our army to be hurt while we watch; we will fight and stand with them,” said Shusho.

When Nkone ignored Shusho

Once Shusho got over his anger, Nkone started singing Shusho's song, which surprised Shusho as he expected the veteran singer to also attack the supporters who were attacking Mwaipaja.

“You're not going to say anything?” asked Shusho but Nkone blew him off and continued singing, which made Shusho start singing too.

People who watched the video supported Nkone, saying it was not the right time or place to bring up the topic. Others said not everything needs an opinion.

“Dah! His friend knows how to sing the gospel, not fight with people. Shusho must have felt very ashamed,” said Timothy Malyii of Clouds FM Tanzania.
