CCTV footage showing Peter Muteti, Bernard Kavuli being abducted emerges

  • Now, CCTV footage has emerged showing how Muteti was abducted outside a shop in Uthiru, Nairobi county
  • Muteti and Kavuli were kidnapped a few days after they wrote controversial messages on the internet about President William Ruto

Nairobi – The families of Peter Muteti and Bernard Kavuli are still searching for the young social media influencers who were allegedly kidnapped.

Muteti, aged 22, was abducted in Uthiru, while Kavuli was abducted in Ngong by armed men believed to be police officers.

How Peter Muteti was kidnapped

Clear CCTV footage has emerged showing the moment Muteti and Kavuli were abducted.

In a CCTV clip shared by Citizen TV, Muteti was captured outside the area where he lived in Uthiru street on Saturday, December 21.

The pictures show two men jumping from a moving car and arresting Muteti who was outside the shop.

In the CCTV clip, Muteti tried to resist, but the two men overpowered him and forced him into the car before speeding away as residents watched in amazement.

How Bernard Kavuli was kidnapped

Meanwhile, Kavuli, a university student and digital content creator, was kidnapped in Ngong on Sunday, December 22.

CCTV footage seen by TUKO.co.ke shows the digital content creator walking near Rubis Petrol Station before being forced into a white Probox by unknown men.
