Ezekiel Mutua Weeps During His Son's Funeral Two Weeks After His Father's Death

The Executive Director of the Music Copyright Association in Kenya Ezekiel Mutua has buried his son Brian Makenzi.

Two weeks ago, Mutua was mourning after losing his father.

Mutua announced the death of the father through a sad post on Facebook.

He admired his father as someone who had an extraordinary life, living to the age of 100.

“Not many get it luck of reaching 100 years and leaving the world surrounded by their grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dad witnessed the First and Second World Wars and has experienced almost every famine and disease recorded in history,” he wrote.

The MCSK boss again sank into grief after losing his youngest son. Mutua is going through every parent's nightmare, after burying his son, Makenzi.

After his wife read a touching message for their son, Mutua was seen wiping away tears with a cloth.

In another photo, tears were seen streaming down his face. Mutua revealed that after burying his son, it started to rain.

He wrote:

“And immediately after placing the wreaths to pay our last respects to our son, the heavens opened and it rained heavily. When the rain began to fall rapidly and the mourners ran for shelter, we remained there in the rain – paralyzed, confused, not understanding anything, supported only by the grace of God and His peace that surpasses all human understanding.”

He took to social media to thank family and friends for standing by his family in these difficult times. Mutua also thanked his followers for their messages of comfort.

Mr Lenny lost his father

In other news, Kenyan musician, Mr Lenny, sadly announced the death of his father, Leonard Wanganga.

The artist shared that his father was going back and forth to the hospital for treatment until his last moments.
