How old was Collins Owl when he died?

Collins Owl, to luck unfortunately, he died seven days ago while enjoying a swim in the Nyamindi River.

The body of the 15-year-old boy was found and recovered 15 kilometers from where he drowned by divers in Kirinyaga county.

“I've been looking for this boy, and I was lucky enough to find him today. He was stuck in a tree, one of his legs was stuck. I went to where his body was and pulled him out. It wasn't easy because there were caves and some places had rocks and trees, but I kept going hold on, and God helped me get him out,” said Dan Murango, a diver.

How was Bundi's mother informed about her son's death?

When the incident happened, Bundi was riding a bicycle more than 25 kilometers from Keugoya with his friend to go swimming in the river. Bundi's mother, who was sad, recalled how she received the sad news over the phone.

“I received a phone call and was told that my son had slipped and drowned in the water. I haven't seen him yet and I don't know where he is. We looked for him in the water but we didn't find him. We were living with him in peace. He didn't tell me that he was going to the place I left him at home,” he said.

A Grade Seven student drowns in Homa Bay

In another case, a family in the small area of ​​Katonde, Koyugi Ward, was mourning after their 13-year-old son sadly drowned.

The incident occurred on Friday, December 13, when Griffin Omondi Ochieng', a Grade Seven student at Obujo Primary School, drowned while swimming in the Oluch River.

Griffin was at home early that morning, but in the afternoon, his friends invited him to the river.
