‘There is no substitution’- Usain Bolt shares key advice for achieving greatness

Usain Bolt has shared insights on how athletes can get to the top, insisting there are no short cuts.

Legendary Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has shared the one major tip to make someone great at what they do.

The multiple Olympic champion was in a gym session and he revealed that working out took him down memory lane to the days when he was an active athlete.

The fastest man alive also opened up about how struggled with injuries as he shared that there are no shortcuts to make it to the top.


Usain Bolt was once at the center of a scandal after alleged cheating, but his relationship with Kasi Bennett endured.


Bolt advised athletes to put in the work and never miss a day since that is the only surest way to achieve their goals and get to greater heights.

“Hi people, so I’m at the gym, and it just took me back to the days when I used to get injured when I used to do track and field and I just want to say there is no substitution to being great or getting to the level that you want,” Usain Bolt said in a video shared on his X handle.

“There is no substation to hard work, trust me…If you want to be great, if you want to be on top, you have to work hard, you have to be dedicated.”

The multiple world champion is undoubtedly one of the greatest sprinters of all time and has from time to time opened up about some of the challenges he faced and how he managed to bounce back.

If any sprinter or athlete has the desire to make it to the top, they might borrow a leaf from the legendary sprinter’s book.

His former coach, Glen Mills, was one of the reasons why he never gave up on his career and continued pushing despite the setbacks.
