Kirinyaga: Christmas celebrations are upon us and when other families gather to celebrate, Kirinyaga Member of Parliament Lucy Njeri Mwaniki is alone after the death of her daughter.
Seth Nyakio was brutally killed there Thikawhen he went to visit his friend on October 18.
Tears flowed at the funeral of the 23-year-old beauty, which was held at St. Camillus Catholic Church, Karuguru, Ruiru, Kiambu County.
The funeral was attended by friends and family who paid their last respects to the Zetech University graduate.
By December 19, his mother wrote an emotional message, noting that the Christmas holidays of 2024 were full of pain, pain, and suffering.
“Watching parents travel with their children for the festive season, I sit alone, lost in thought on the steps of the Nairobi railway station,” he said.

“This is what I wish for my beloved daughter Seth! Physically, we are not together, but spiritually, we are together,” he added.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Njeri said things have not been right for him. He also complained that his daughter's killer has never been arrested.
“We regularly go to the police station to check the progress of the case, and the police assure us that they are doing everything they can to solve the case. I wish that person to be arrested quickly so that my daughter can get justice,” he said.
“We will never forget Nyakio, his memory will live forever,” he added.

In another statement, detectives asked for the help of the Kenyan public to arrest the man believed to be responsible for the murder of the young woman.
Nyakio He was killed in Biafra Street, Thika.
Detectives from the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) named Ken Kimathi as the main suspect and asked the public to help them find him.
