Florence Wanjiku has opened up about her romantic relationship with Elias Njeru, the man who allegedly stabbed her 18 times a few weeks ago.

Florence revealed that she was having an affair with the businessman, fully aware that he was married.
He confirmed that he called the businessman's wife earlier this year to inform her about their relationship.
In a candid interview on Kogi's Corner channel, Florence said she and Elias were previously business partners, and their romantic relationship only started after the birth of their child.
“It was just something that happened, and yes, I know he was married. I remember there was a time when we had a meeting at his house, although his wife did not attend. I did not expect to enter into a romantic relationship with him. Our situation was funny because our son came first before us to love each other. We just found ourselves together.” he said.
Florence said that after their child was born, she and Elias decided that it was better for her to move to Nakuru from Nairobi to hide their relationship.
“His wife knows about us. I didn't call her, but I sent her my child's birth certificate earlier this year to let her know. Then I blocked her immediately, but we came to talk later,” he added.
Florence's relationship with Elias
The businessman also disclosed that Elias used to travel to Nakuru two or three times a week to see their son, saying he was not sleeping at his house.
“He wanted to be a part of our son's life, so he came two or three times a week. However, he was not sleeping at my house, especially after we broke up at the end of last year,” he said.
He said he was a “prisoner of love” as he tried to move to another place, but Elias stopped him.
“Three months ago, I even paid for the house and was ready to move, but I couldn't. I felt like a prisoner, and this is a mistake that many women make,” he said.
Florence's husband is in the United States
In the same interview, the woman also revealed that she has a permanent boyfriend who lives in the United States and who has been worried about her condition since the stabbing incident.
“He has shown concern about my condition. He is worried, and when I spoke to him, he said he needs an explanation, but he wants me to start recovering first,” he added.
He said he will give details after he recovers completely.
The woman from Nakuru revealed that Elias knew about her relationship with the American lover.
“There was one day when he messaged me on WhatsApp, saying he knows about my relationship. He said that some of his close people told him that I have a boyfriend in the United States. I had not lied to him about that,” he said.
