Why does Gachagua want Ndindi Nyoro to speak?
Speaking on Inooro TV, Gachagua dared Nyoro to announce whether he is with him or at the President's camp William Ruto.
According to Gachagua, Mt Kenya region is in a time of decision making towards the 2027 General Election, and people must take a stand.
The former vice president said he is uniting the area and wanted to be sure of leaders who support his course.
“Make your position regarding the interests of Mount Kenya known. Your silence does not help. We want to know our numbers. Things in the community are not silent,” Gachagua said.
Nyoro has remained silent since the debate about the removal of Gachagua in the National Assembly and did not vote when the MPs decided to send the former deputy president home.
The Kiharu Member of Parliament has also not discussed the issue of Gachagua's defection, a situation that made Gachagua ask him to clarify his position and stop being a heretic.
Gachagua dared Nyoro to tell the people of Kiharu if he supports his motion to be removed from power.
“I want to urge Ndindi Nyoro to tell the good people of Kiharu constituency whether he is with his people or he is with the traitor,” the former vice president said.
Why did Gachagua praise Ndindi Nyoro?
Earlier, the former deputy president praised the Kiharu member of parliament, revealing their unknown relationship.
He described Nyoro as a disciplined and capable leader who stayed on top of the debate.
Gachagua also revealed that Nyoro kept him during the administration of the former president Uhuru Kenyatta when you followed him.
