Nairobi – The leader of the party Wiper Democratic Movement Kalonzo Musyoka has ignored the impact of President William Ruto's speech on Republic Day.
Did William Ruto's Republic Day speech impress Kenyans?
In his Twitter message, Kalonzo claimed that the head of state used the 61st Republic Day speech to congratulate himself instead of giving a strong speech and national reflection.
According to the former vice president, the president's speech was allegedly designed to mislead Kenyans.
“It is very sad that instead of a sacred and reflective national speech as it should have been, the 61st Republic Day Message today was a self-congratulatory pipe dream and misinformation of the President William Ruto. It contained false facts created by the tyrannical administration of Kenya Kwanza to mislead Kenyans,” Kalonzo said.
The Wiper leader said Ruto's speech did not reflect the vision of the ancestors who sacrificed their lives for the country to gain its independence.
“That is not the vision of our predecessors, who committed to freeing us from the yoke of punishing and humiliating colonialism,” he added.
Kalonzo: Why should Kenyans oppose the Kenyan government in the first place?
Kalonzo questioned Ruto's claim that the administration of Kenya First Alliance has improved the country's economic outlook.
He claimed that currently those who praise Ruto's administration are enjoying freedom and peace unlike those who criticize it.
“Ruto's false BETA, whichever way you look at it, is built on the opposite, that: Freedom is given to the KK if you tow their line; 'Peace' is gifted with a name if you become their mouthpiece; and economic prosperity is a song line. for their latest antics We must free ourselves from the shackles of self-dealing by this BC government that thrives on lies, misinformation and lies,” he said. he added.
Ruto's job creation agenda
In his Republic Day speech, Ruto emphasized his administration's commitment to improving Kenya's economy through job creation.
He noted that the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) prioritizes reducing the cost of living through drivers such as job creation.
The President said since he took the helm, the number of jobs in Kenya has increased, with new jobs for teachers, agricultural workers, health professionals, builders, sailors and people outside Kenya under the labor export program.
