The husband of a woman who was found dead with a soldier has spoken painfully of how the incident left him with many unanswered questions and shame.

The man's wife, Mercy Nassoro, from the Majengo area, was found dead in the soldier's room, which caused panic as her body and that of the soldier were undressed and lying on the bed.
Speaking to Mwananchi TV, the man told how he was initially worried about his wife's safety after he failed to return home, then he found out she had stayed at the soldier's house.
“I had traveled for two days, and when I returned, I learned from my children that their mother had not returned home. I began a frantic search for her, fearing that she had been robbed and killed or arrested,” he said.
He visited local police stations and even called the mortuary to find out if he was inside.
“My children were also looking for him, strangely when they were going around looking for him, they called him and heard it ringing inside the policeman's house, I checked if they found anything, and they told me what they had. to hear
“I immediately entered the house which was opened, and I met with the strange sight of my wife's lifeless body in her birth suit. Beside her on the bed there was also a soldier, in that condition,” he added.
He called the authorities to take the bodies.
Cause of death of Mercy Nassoro
The man said that the autopsy report showed that his wife died due to lack of oxygen.
“At first, I doubted the report because I thought my wife was physically attacked but the doctor assured me that there were no marks or injuries to support my theory,” he added.
The unsatisfied husband is now left with a lot of pain in his heart and many questions as he suspects that his wife cheated on him with the soldier.
“I have lived with him for 30 years, and we had a Catholic wedding a year ago, I don't understand why he did this, he has sinned against God, but I have forgiven him, I have prepared an honorable funeral for him,” he added.
The discovery of bodies in the soldier's house
As previously reported, Majengo residents were left stunned following the mysterious deaths of the soldier and a married woman at his home.
The lifeless and naked bodies of the two were found in the soldier's bedroom late last week, in an incident that has left neighbors stunned.
The police have confirmed the occurrence of the incident, saying that the soldier and a married woman went to the bedroom last night.
