Manager of Diamond PlatnumzSallam SK, has commented on the drama surrounding the absence of the Tanzanian artist at the Furaha City concert in Nairobi.

Although rumors spread that Diamond refused to go on stage after the fans shouted to cheer him on Willy Paul During his appearance, Sallam denied the allegations and gave a different explanation.
Did Willy Paul provoke Zuchu?
Sallam accused Willy Paul of preventing Zuchu from going on stage, claiming that Paul was trying to create competition with Diamond for fame.
“It is time for artists to focus on their work instead of creating false stories in search of fame. Willy argued with Zuchu and prevented him from going on stage, claiming that he was there from the beginning and deserved to perform first. However, when it was his turn, he refused to go on stage, claiming that he should closing the concert as the main artist, when he saw his colleagues being cheered, he insisted on performing during Zuchu's time instead of waiting for Diamond's chance. Sallam explained.

Speaking about Diamond's absence, Sallam said that the problem was due to a disagreement between the organizers and Diamond's team, and was not related to any artist.
“Why Diamond did not perform is a matter between us and the organizers. It has nothing to do with any artist. Blessings,” Sallam concluded.
Initially, the artist claimed that he was despised and mistreated in Furaha City.
Paul performed as the main artist of the much awaited concert.
Other artists who performed were Mejja, Khaligraph Jones, Zuchu, Rayvanny, and Diamond, who did not perform.
While at the concert, Paul posted a message complaining about discrimination. He claimed that the artists of Tanzania they were given priority while their Kenyan counterparts were looked down upon.
What did the Furaha City organizers say?
The main organizer of Furaha City Festival, Willis Raburumade a statement talking about the confusion surrounding Diamond's absence from the concert.
In the statement, the organizing team expressed their regret for Diamond's failure to perform.
They revealed that despite their efforts to give Diamond and his team a chance, the challenges arising from his team's behavior and demands failed to be resolved.
