The man's wife, Mercy Nassoro, from Majengo, met death in a soldier's room, and fueled rumors after their bodies were found naked in bed.

Speaking to Mwananchi TV, the man explained how worried he was for his wife's safety after he failed to return home, until he discovered their bodies at a soldier's house.

“I had gone on a two-day trip, and when I returned, I knew from my children that their mother had not returned home. I quickly started looking for her, fearing that she had been kidnapped or killed or imprisoned,” he said.

He visited the local police stations and even informed the local elders to help him find the mother of the children.

“My children were also looking for him, and surprisingly, they called his phone and heard it ringing in the house of the army man. I checked if they had found anything, and they told me what they heard.

“Immediately, I entered the house, which was open, and I was surprised. My wife's body was lifeless, in a state of emptiness. Next to her on the bed was also an army man, in the same state,” he added.

He called the police to come and collect the bodies.

What killed Mercy Nassoro

The man said that the autopsy report showed that his wife died due to lack of oxygen.

“At first I was skeptical of the report because I thought my wife was physically abused, but the doctor assured me that there were no marks or injuries to support my theory,” he added.

The husband who is in pain is now full of sadness in his heart and many questions because he suspects that his wife was cheating with the military man.
