This newspaper reports on President William Ruto's move to respond to his opponents, who have recently been criticizing his administration in a negative light.

Led by the deposed vice president Rigathi Gachaguathe opponents have been citing what they say is the failure of the Ruto administration such as the confusion surrounding the new health plan, the controversy over the Adani contracts and the faltering economy.

Ruto continued to say that he is not afraid of the alliances announced by Gachagua and his allies in preparation for the 2027 elections.

This happened while Gachagua vowed to expose the flaws of Ruto and his administration.

In a recent television interview, the former vice president said he now understands why the former president Uhuru Kenyatta he chose not to support Ruto, his deputy at the time, in the 2022 presidential race despite having a previous agreement.
