Nairobi – Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) on the street Embakasi has launched an investigation into the death of an unidentified man who was found unconscious at Mukuru Kwa Njenga Primary School.

How was the man injured?

According to a report filed at the Villa Police Station, good Samaritans took the man to Mukuru Kwa Njenga Level 4 Hospital at around one in the morning.

The witnesses claimed that they found him bleeding profusely on the school grounds.

Citizen Digital reported that paramedics examined the victim and found that he had a stab wound on the left side of his body, above the hip.

Despite efforts to save him, he died while receiving treatment.

Police officers from Villa and Embakasi stations visited the hospital and were later coordinated with a team of crime investigators to handle the area where the victim was found.

The body was later transported to the City Mortuary, where an autopsy will be conducted, and efforts to identify him are ongoing.

Authorities are calling on the public to provide any information that may help identify the victim or lead to the arrest of those responsible for his murder.

In other news, five people including children lost their lives in a tragic incident in Jomvu, Mombasa when the perimeter wall of KUSCO Company collapsed during heavy rain.

Police reports indicate that the victims, along with others who suffered serious injuries, had sought refuge near the wall after attending a funeral in the Miritini area. The wall collapsed due to a heavy storm, causing deaths.

The deceased were transported to the mortuary of the main hospital of the Coast for preservation, while the injured were rushed to the hospital for urgent treatment.
