How did Raila Odinga mock Rigathi Gachagua?

Speaking cryptically at an event to thank ODM deputy leader Godfrey Osotsi in Vihiga on Sunday, December 1, Raila humorously questioned the whereabouts of the former Mathira MP.

“Recently, I saw someone returning sometime, saying they have set traps everywhere and that I cannot cross. What kind of trap? They claimed they trapped Baba, saying there is no handshake or sharing of power. Where is Gachagua now?” asked Raila.

The comments were in response to Gachagua's previous remarks, where he claimed that Raila would never be part of the government of Kenya First and that he placed “traps” around the White House to prevent Raila from gaining access.

“I have set traps in every corner of the White House, in every corner… and I have people who call me as soon as they see someone is nearby because you cannot allow someone who destroyed four governments to enter the fifth,” Gachagua. he said in a previous speech.

Raila's remarks followed Gachagua's admission that, during his impeachment debate, he 'loosened' the so-called traps after President Ruto agreed to form a broad government that included members of the opposition.
