The boy's mother, Conslate Akoth, told TUKO.co.ke exclusively that she could not believe that her son was no more, yet he was healthy.

Where was Morgan's mother rushed for treatment after being released from the sewage chamber?

On the fateful day, Akoth left Morgan in the compound with his companions and went outside, not knowing that he would never see him alive again.

According to Margaret Agan, a neighbor who witnessed the tragedy, the children were playing near the tank when the accident happened.

“I rushed to the scene, but when I looked inside the tank, I couldn't see him,” Agan narrated with tears in his eyes.

Several people joined the frantic effort to pull the boy out of the tank, hoping to save his life.

Where was Morgan taken for treatment?

When they managed to get him out, they tried first aid by pressing on his stomach to release water and other contents.

The young man answered briefly but soon became silent.

He was rushed to the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital, where efforts to save his life were in vain.

“The nurse came and told me my boy has already left,” Akoth cried as he collapsed in grief.

Neighbors want the landlord of Manyatta Estate to be held accountable

The septic tank, reportedly left open, was a known hazard, and a similar incident had allegedly occurred in the past.

To make matters worse, the landlord is said to be out of the country, and the caretaker was in Nairobi at the time of the tragedy.

“This could have been avoided if the tank had been covered,” Agan complained.
