DRC Congo: Netizens are amused by how congregants are forced to jump over burning candles to approach their pastor for prayers or blessings.

What about small children?

In a series of videos, men wearing long robes and women wearing long dresses and headscarves fly candles along the path and stop only when they reach the pastor.

In a video posted on TikTok and @merciachoco3Cute, children are not left behind either. They fly over the candles skillfully, and one can only hold his breath, hoping that they will not fall or their clothes and coats will not catch fire because of the candles.

As in other churches, the pastor also prays for the infants of his church members. Parents who need prayers for their children are also forced to fly randomly with little bundles of joy in their hands.
