Was Ruto yelled at in Mount Kenya?
In a separate incident, Ruto experienced a brief disturbance after a large part of his audience at a church event in Embu rejected some of his remarks.
The President joined other leaders in Embu on Saturday, November 16, to attend the coronation of Bishop Peter Kimani in the Catholic Diocese of Embu.
Ruto discussed the Affordable Housing Project, the recently launched Community Health Insurance Fund (SHIF) to replace the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), and the recruitment of teachers.
While stressing the importance of the affordable housing program and the establishment of SHIF, Ruto faced backlash from the public, who mocked him for not approving it.
They could not allow him to fully elaborate on the two programs; however, he was determined to go through the noise.
Their views showed dissatisfaction with the current administration and the policies it creates.
