Why did Gachagua show doubt in Kindiki?

Speaking during the church service, Gachagua claimed that he is the only one who defends the citizens of Kenya within the administration of Kenya First.

Gachagua expressed doubt in Kindiki's ability to defend the people, insisting that, unlike an elected leader, the appointment of Kindiki by the President William Ruto you limit his ability to challenge the president's decisions.

Gachagua suggested that his successor is only an employee of the president, who has the duty to follow the decisions of the head of state regardless of their impact on the country.
